Toddler’s Bed Which Type to Buy

Sunday, January 18, 2009

There is a whole series of children's beds there on the market, and as a parent, you may be feeling a little confused about what kind of bed to choose according to your needs of the child and the size of their bedrooms.
Read on to learn more about your options to help you choose.

1). Bed with storage
A bed which is below storage is obviously good for small rooms, or for children who have lots of toys. Below offers great storage space saving option, and there are many styles on the market that look too fab. There are also beds that offer the possibility to remove a bed in place of where the drawers would be. This is great for when children are older and more likely to have friends to sleep.

2). Single bed without storage
Buying a bed for a person not below storage (often called a drawer sabaneado) is probably best if your child's bedroom is a good size and storage is not a problem. The good thing about buying a bed with no storage is that these types of beds are often very attractive, without the thinly disguised, and often cumbersome, drawers below.

3). New beds
New beds are often destined for the very young market, for toddlers who are on the verge of their first sleep in bed rather than a cot bed. Children would normally be at an age when they find a bed in the shape of a novelty in a car, a fairy or a ship to be exciting! This will encourage them to remain in their own bed and not migrate into your bed, now they are not constrained by the high bars of a cot.

4). Midsleepers
Midsleepers are an option reminiscent of secret camps, and I have yet to meet a child who was not excited by a midsleeper! They often come in themed style and high quality midsleepers are known for their comfortable mattress.
Whatever the bed you choose for your child, have the pleasure to choose, because it can mean the difference between bouts of anger at bedtime or a good sleep at night.

5). Bunk beds
Bunk beds are ideal for brothers and sisters who are close to the age and share a room or for children who may have friends or relatives who come to sleep as they age . Bunk beds are great space savers if children share a room, and there are styles on the market that can be unplugged and actually two single beds, which is an excellent option for when children get older and perhaps "exit" from the idea of sleeping in bunk beds. When choosing a bunk bed, be sure to pick one that is strong. Sometimes it is better to pay a little more than bunk beds which are concerned to ensure that they are super strong. Pine berths are often quite strong, as are those made of metal.
